Honour and Excellence - MOBI.E

Honour and Excelence
National Sustainability Award
MOBI.E received an honorable mention in the Sustainable Mobility category of the National Sustainability Award. This initiative, organized by Jornal de Negócios and Deloitte, annually recognizes the projects and organizations that stand out the most in the transition to a more sustainable future in Portugal. A total of 91 applications were submitted across ten thematic categories within the areas of “Environment,” “Social,” and “Governance.”
The jury, made up of 75 experts from different fields, recognized the projects and organizations that stood out in the transition to a more sustainable future in Portugal, granting a total of 17 awards and nine honorable mentions.
MOBI.E was awarded for its project “Electric Streets,” which, over the course of this year, will strengthen the charging network in 80 municipalities by adding 8,624 kW of available power to the national grid and 392 new charging points, capable of meeting the needs of up to 6,634 electric vehicles or 10,780 plug-in hybrids.
The award ceremony took place in 2025, in Carcavelos.

Innovation & Excellence Awards Prize
MOBI.E has been honored with another international award, earning the title of “EV Charging Solutions of the Year” at the Innovation & Excellence Awards, promoted by the media platform Corporate LiveWire.
Headquartered in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Corporate LiveWire is a well-known business information entity that annually recognizes companies and individuals worldwide for their performance and innovation across various industry sectors.
MOBI.E was initially shortlisted thanks to numerous recommendations from platform subscribers, who highlighted the company as a benchmark in electric mobility: a fully interoperable national system that ensures universal access and provides real-time information on the availability of all charging points.
In the final phase, the jury selected MOBI.E as the winner in its category, based on the evaluation of several criteria, including: quality of services provided, achievement of objectives, technological innovation, ethical and sustainable practices, digital presence, and national and international media exposure.

This award recognizes the efforts of everyone who chooses to be part of the Mobi.E network, helping position Portugal at the forefront of Europe in terms of the growing presence of the electric vehicle market.
ECODES is a non-profit organization with 30 years of experience in developing, managing, and promoting sustainable development initiatives in Spain and Latin America.
The award – a sculpture designed by Isidro Ferrer, winner of the National Design Award (2002) and the National Illustration Award (2006) – was presented to Luís Barroso, President of MOBI.E, who was joined by Miriam Zaitegui, Director of the European Climate Foundation, on October 2, 2024, in Madrid.
