Charging Stations Manufacturers and Representatives - MOBI.E
To integrate your company’s charging stations into the Mobi.E Network, they must meet the following technical and regulatory requirements:
- Support Internet connectivity via 3G, Ethernet, and/or Wi-Fi;
- Include Type 2 sockets (IEC 62196-2) for normal charging stations;
- Include at least one Type 2 Combo connector cable for fast charging stations;
- Be CE marked, certifying compliance with essential safety and health protection requirements, and approved according to IEC 61851;
- Include an RFID card reader compliant with ISO/IEC 14443 (optional if mobile app authentication is supported);
- Support communication using the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), version 1.5 or 1.6, between the station and its central management system;
- Have energy meters per outlet in accordance with Directive 2014/32/EU (MID);
- Ensure compatibility with the Mobi.E System (for validation testing, please contact mic@mobie.pt).
